Revive Box!

So I'm here today to tell you about a very cool website "Influenster" this website is really cool because you get free stuff just for doing surveys.  Here is a little peak of what I got this past month from them.

Estoy en Ecuador

Hola! So this is day 3 of my trip to Ecuador, I have done so many cool things so far. Day one which was Monday December 21. We went to see "El Panecillo" which is a very large statue of the Virgin Mary. It faces the North part of the city of Quito.

On Tuesday December 22, Martín and I took a tour of the city by a city bus. It was very nice just to be able to sit and watch the city as we went by. We eventually got off and walked around the downtown for awhile, which is where I had ice cream of a very weird flavor, the flavor was called Morocho.

 

Finally to today Wednesday December 23rd. Martin and I also his friends hiked to a waterfall. I was not prepared at all for what I was about to do today. I didn't have a swim suit, I didn't have the right type of shoes, nor did I have sunscreen. But while at the waterfall I got talked into jumping into the very cold water, I was scared for my life, but I did it!

Finals week / Christmas Plans

Hey everybody! How are you this fine evening? I'm great, except for the fact I have finals this week. ugh.. But good news is that I only have 3 FINALS! Spanish, Critical Reasoning, and Acting. I'm not to stressed about my acting final, it will be easy peasy.

I have great plans coming soon for my YouTube channel, I have a video with my boyfriend being uploaded in the next few days and also a special Christmas video. The Christmas video should be funny and I think everyone will enjoy it.

So I have very exciting plans for Christmas this year! I am going to Ecuador to visit my host brother Martín and his family. I can't wait to practice my spanish and see my 2nd family. I will be leaving Saturday the 19th and coming back the day after Christmas, because I have to work. I am so excited to be able to travel around this time of year, especially because I haven't seen my host brother in about 5-6 months. This will be a trip to remember. :)

The Beginning

    Hey everyone! I thought I'd get this whole blog thing up and running again! So if you didn't know, my name is Sydney Beth Alexis de Boer or you can call me SydneyBad. I am a 19 year old college student studying Spanish Education. I work for the Boys and Girls Club, getting my practice in as a teacher I suppose. One of my favorite things to do is to make videos for YouTube. My wonderful boyfriend Bailey also makes videos for his channel. I will probably be posting some pictures soon, of us. Some of my favorite things in life are cats, especially my 2 cats Muffin and Twilight, they are the best. Also I love my cameras, hover boards, taking long walks on the beach, you know! All that stuff you put in a dating profile! Just kidding I would never use one of those! But thats mostly because I already have a wonderful guy. Well today you got to learn a little bit more about me. Thanks for stopping by.
